Ethics in social science research

This programme has been designed for researchers and members of the ethics committees. The aim of the training programme is to enable participants to identify and articulate ethical issues in social science research, develop skills for ethical reasoning and apply these skills to design and evaluation of research.

Clinical Ethics

This programme enables the participants to understand the role of ethics in professional work, identify ethical problems and develop the skills to take ethical decisions in day to day practice. The training programme is aimed at health care practitioners at different levels.

Planning, monitoring and evaluation of health programmes

This programme is designed for programme managers, researchers and monitoring and evaluation officers of different health programmes. The training enables participants to develop a gender and rights approach to programme planning, design an evidence-based intervention, develop a rigorous monitoring and evaluation plan and develop practical skills in evaluation research and programme monitoring.

Research methodology

Capacity building of research staff is a priority area for CSER. Quantitative and Qualitative research methodology workshops are conducted at regular intervals by the organisation.
